Hello everybody welcome. Wait just a couple moments to let everyone log in here for a couple of seconds. I see some people already coming on in so awesome but as more people come on in I want to say hello and thank you for joining us tonight. My name is Brianna Benson. I'm one of the senior assistant directors of recruitment here in the Admissions office and I have the pleasure of welcoming you all here tonight for this virtual session about university housing.
And I have summer. Well that's from our university housing and culinary services. To help give you guys the information you're looking about for housing, so some housekeeping items if anyone needs closed captioning during this presentation for any reason up at the top right hand corner, you'll see a closed captioning button. You can click that on or click that off whenever you might need it to see close captioning appear. And then you'll also, as summer goes through her presentation and the information.
About university housing, you'll also see a questions section you are able to put any questions that you might have in there and we will moderate this chat and be able to at the end of the presentation. Hopefully help answer some of those pieces. Be in mind if it's something very personal we want you to talk to housing directly, so I'll also be putting in contact information too if there's any follow up needed, but I'm going to switch the reins over for the show. You guys all came here tonight.
And allow summer to fully introduce herself and get us started so summer take us away.
Thanks, Bri might like Bri said my name is Summer Dunleavy. I'm the assistant director of Marketing for housing and culinary. So if you signed up for the culinary one later, you'll see me again talking about food. So this one is about where you're going to live on campus. I would like to say thank you guys so much for coming. And to this session and listening to what housing is all about and when they know there's not enough time to cover everything about living and eating on campus for sure.
But it's my hope to touch up on some of the important things and the pressing topics for you. There will also be time, like Bree said to answer some questions as well at the end, so I've allowed enough time. Hopefully that you can ask all of the questions and and we'll try to get to them the best we can.
So the housing experience. It's our hope that by living on campus you will find a variety of fun, social and educational and engaging activities to participate in during your time on campus. We truly believe that living on campus is an experience for everyone. The added value to your college experience is just it's in measurable by living on campus. So I would like to these are a couple topics that we're going to go over today.
In today's session and just wanted to let you know, like different ways that you can get involved by getting into a living learning community, roommates and transitions with that, any kind of health and safety. The nitty gritties of like student rooms and laundry. And then we won't talk about in this one. But meal plans and the things that you can get with your meal plans. But then also the moving process so.
Yeah, we'll just dive right into this.
So on February 1st we opened up our housing application. If you have not registered for housing, please do so. The application is right there on our website sokent.edu/housing. It's the bottom of the page. You just click right on there and through that you can see how you can sign up. You need to use your flash line credentials if you have not registered yet. It's important you get into a Q and then you can put.
And all your information, even if you don't know who your roommate is, even if you don't know what buildings you want to live into, you can always go in and change your application at any time. We don't start doing application assignments until the beginning of June, so you do have time, but you want to put yourself in that line so that you can do first come, first serve if you know the building you want in as like CCB or CCC. Those are definitely.
Very popular rooms. It's first come first serve. We also have second year students that are also applying for these areas, so we want to make sure that everybody gets the pick that they can to the best of their ability, so make sure you list your top three eventually, but you do not have to do that when you initially sign in and when you sign in. Make sure that you have a unique password to your flash line, so you should have gotten a link to your email account with a generic passcode with that.
You will have to change that in order to change that that password that was given to you to a unique password in order to complete that housing application. There is a fee. Both are due when you apply for housing, the housing application fee is for the placement and the hold and then the 200 pre payment goes will be credited to your account for housing.
And this can be done all online and I should have probably said that I did mention the website, but I'm do it all online. You can't actually physically come in and do it, so the housing application is also for the full academic year. That's both fall and spring semesters and students are required to live on campus their first two years, unless they meet the exemption criteria. So that's on our website as well. Assignments are prioritized based on the date that you submitted. So like I said.
I thought in guys, if you haven't already.
Prepayment if pre payment is not received by the time we start making housing assignments then we will not be able to assign you to a room until that pre payment is made so make sure you pay that as well.
And just to note that somebody gave me before I came and I just jotted it down in my notes, but we are unable to make room or roommate changes once your initial assignment is made, my campuswide roommate change process will be will begin based upon availability starting the third week of the fall semester. So you get into a room you're just not jiving with that roommate because you didn't pick somebody you can. You're not stuck there, but you have to wait.
Two weeks into the semester and then you can start doing changes in roommates, so I think that's kind of all. We're going to go into more into the living learning communities.
In a minute and oh, and I should say back on that slide the living learning preferences. If you know that, please put that in to go from there.
So living, learning communities and roommates. So an LLC on your student or on your application, you'll be able to reference a list of residence halls as I mentioned.
That you would want to be assigned to. They'll be able to go up to 12 different halls, but make sure like I said, the top three is really what you're going to go from, but you can put in the 12 top ones if you are majoring. If if, if your your mate, excuse me if you have a major and it's connected with one of our living learning communities, then we highly recommend that you you make that preference to that community on that hall.
All of that is on our website. To put it all in here would be very cumbersome and I think people would get lost. But no. Our living learning programs and we have a whole bunch of them we have like over 16 of them now and it goes anywhere from like the Honors College to College of Arts and Sciences to business learning. And we encourage everyone to get into a living learning program that helps build relationships with other people on campus. If you don't really know anybody.

To find out more about Living-Learning Programs, check out: https://www.kent.edu/housing/living-learning-programs.
And the nice thing is, you all have the similar major, so that's really cool, because then you can talk about classes and stuff. An example I always give is I have two students that are in visual design and when they came in their juniors now and when they came in they both picked the LLP for Visual Design communications and they actually hired one. And then I hired the other one and found out they knew each other and I said how did you guys meet 'cause they're not from anywhere close to each other.
Their hometowns, and they were like, oh we were in an LLP together and a couple of our classes and stuff so it was really cool and they're still really good friends and now live in the same apartment complex so.
It's a great way to meet so many different people, so definitely check that out and get into an LLP if you can. Like I said, research the ones that are best for you.
You don't necessarily need to live in that hall like say you have a roommate. That's a fashion design major, and you're an architecture major and you really want to live with this person. You don't necessarily have to live in that building. You can get access to the building as long as you're registered for that LLP, so please do that. Please get involved for sure and and within your major as well.
And I'm just looking over my notes to make sure that I didn't skip anything on that one.
The roommate agreement process.
It can be really challenging to move into a small space with a new person. So while you might become really good friends with your roommate, the most important aspect of rooming with someone with someone else is being able to respect and share that space. It's a little bit different living at home with your parents and siblings, and you have a house and you can go to your own room and this you will be living with someone else. So just think of that as well. And one of the first things that I would recommend.
You do and your roommate do would be to talk to each other about what they are hoping living together would be like, your dislikes, your likes. Are you an early morning person? Are you late night person and just be very honest too on that application. That housing application like if you are a night owl put that on there because you don't want to be paired with somebody. That's an early bird and you want to stay up late and they want to go to bed. That's just not going to mash really well.
Like sit down and actually talk to each other and don't just text and send messages through social media and we do have an app if you. If you're like how in the world am I going to find a roommate? We have a new app. It's called Zeny ZEMEE and I suggest you download that and log on and you can meet other people within the community that might have likes and dislikes. But then once you like connect with somebody like actually talk to them like.
Pick up the phone and call them kind of crazy. Your teams them something UM or meet up with them if they're like local to where you live.
Because moving in in August, it can help prevent a number of potential.
Brianna Benson
05:11:56 PM
ZeeMee is the housing application Sommer mentioned! You can join and meet other admitted students, find a roommate, and see KSU specific channels to help answer questions!
Little roommate conflicts that could emerge, so definitely take that into effect when you are looking for roommate as well, and just because you talked to one person doesn't mean that you have to be set on that. DKS is coming up in June destination Kent State, so also on February 1st you were able to sign up for disks as well. Again, totally do that and get on the the docket to get your day for that.
But with that, you might want to come to D chaos. You meet somebody, and then you're like, hey, let's go the same the same day, the two days and spend the night you could do like a trial roommate thing. And you may like them. You may not. So that might be a great way to to, you know, get to know somebody as well. Or you might need somebody at DKS and be like, Oh my gosh, I want to live with you. Do you want a room together here? So something to think about as well. So when you move into the halls in August, you'll find.
A roommate agreement with your roommate. You feel you'll fill it out. The agreement will cover cleanliness, sharing spaces, the rules for studying just among a bunch of other things, but we encourage that you be honest with your roommate again and just be, you know, flat out.
This is what I like and what I don't because that will be the start of a great relationship in a successful successful year.
We know that many roommates experience an adjustment period. The way that you're that you will rise above that, and the differences that you might have with your roommate is to sit and talk all that out. I can't express that enough and just take time to just sit and go through it all. Are you a cat person or a dog person? And do you smoke? Do you not smoke?
You know, like do you? Are you athletic or are you not just, it's just anything that will connect you guys. So just like it says, setting realistic expectations.
So broomes, I'm going to guide you to our website again to look for our virtual rooms so you can go in. You get it, you get your room. I'm sure if you've come to campus.
We have model rooms. The model rooms are great like this is kind of what it looks like. You know like it's it's a replica but you know everyone is set up different and you can't go into the rooms right now because we have residents living in them. Unless you have a friend that's coming to Kent then I would suggest you go into their room and check that out so that you can honestly see what's going on and how they have their room laid out and different options. If they have roommates that you can go visit and things to that extent. But if you don't go to.
Brianna Benson
05:15:04 PM
Here is the link for the 3D virtual tours of the residence halls: https://www.kent.edu/housing/virtual-3d-tours.
The website and check our virtual tours. Uhm, I actually talked to somebody at an event on Friday. A couple of students that thought they wanted one hall but then after talking to him and going through virtual tours they were like OK like that makes more sense and that's not how I visualized it. So we've had a great team of people that have come up with some amazing skills to be able to expand on the halls. And we did this all through COVID sore halls were empty.
To give this amazing opportunity to our prospective students and current students that are looking to potentially move to a different residence hall, they all have like what does? What exactly do the rooms include? Every room includes extra long twin mattresses, a closet for each student, a dresser for each student, computer, desk and chair per student. So there would be two in a room. If you're sharing a room, one trash can and one recycle bin window coverings that are either blinds or curtains and shades.
And in most locations there is also a fridge freezer microwave unit within the room.
So just to let you know if you are looking at Leebrick Hall, laundry facilities are located in each building, either on each floor or in a centralized laundry room. The washers and dryers operate at no additional cost to you. It is included in the cost of their rooms, so that's a bonus. You do need to bring your own laundry soap though, so just to give you a heads up on that.
And that is all I have. I highly suggest you follow us on social media. We're always posting different things in different events and we're continuing to grow that area. And we're on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
So definitely check us out at KSU housing and at this point that's about half of my time. I know you guys probably have tons of questions that I would like to hear, but one thing that I did forget and I have my own notes over here so I didn't forget and I almost have a mailing. And what is your mailing address? So how do you get your mail? Not? We have one centralized mailing location, so if you're over at Stowford Johnson, or if you're over in right hall.
Wherever you're at on campus, it's all going to go to the centralized location, which is located in East Way in in the the 1st floor, and your mailing address would be your name, so your students name the resident hall you live in, and then it would be the Kent State on Campus Mail Center and then 1375 E way drive and that be in Kent. So that's on our website as well so you can check that out, but I get a lot of questions like how am I going to get mail from people?
So that's a big one as well, and then also just real quick. We wanna talk. I wanna talk about safety and security.
We do have a safety and security office on campus that provides escort services. We have employees that can begin that escorting services and they they their safety assistance that complete rounds in every residence hall and complex in the afternoons and evenings. Like I said, escort service you through park your car. You can bring your car to campus. You'd have to park it over at Dix Stadium so it's quite a hike if you don't catch the bus. They don't go quite out that far, but.
If you're walking on campus and you get onto main campus, you can call them and ask for an escort, and that's between 9:00 PM and 2:30 AM seven days a week throughout the semester.
But yeah, that's that's about it. So I'm here. Open it up to questions now, and hopefully you guys have some good ones and I can answer them.
Yeah, in summer we actually do have questions coming in. One questions that seem to be popping up or like what are some definite things to bring and what are some definite things not to bring?
Alright, so I actually have a sheet here. C I'm telling you because I thought all these questions would pop up and I want to give you.
The definite answer. So inside your residence hall, as I mentioned, restrooms lofts linens like as in beds. You would have to bring your own sheets for those beds. Like I said, bring your own laundry soap so that's a must.
Brianna Benson
05:19:23 PM
For more information about what to bring and what not to bring, check out: https://www.kent.edu/housing/your-room.
You would have to bring your own bathroom. Things like shampoo, conditioner, all of that stuff so we don't provide any of that. There's no ice machine. People always say. Where do I get ice? There is no ice machine just to let you know that as well. We also have that on our website. I'm trying to think of the things that people keep asking, like Oh my gosh like can I bring candles? You cannot bring a candle. You can bring those warmers though. Or like those plugins for sure that is.
Yes, you can bring lights for your room, but you can't bring like.
Anything with open flames, so we've seen it all and have had to.
No grills, we've seen that and then you guys might laugh, but we've seen like small girls like camping girls don't bring those. Uhm, any kind of hot plate you can bring like to cook like something small on that is allowed, but nothing with an open flame. Hopefully that answered that question.
Yes, and then two for anybody that wants some links on some of these things. That summer has been mentioning on the chat side of the function here I have included some of those links that summer has referred to, so that way if you guys want to explore that afterwards or during that's there for you, we do have some questions about.
Things along the lines of roommate selection. For if someone maybe wants to live in a living learning program, will their roommate be assigned that will also live in the living learning program? Or can they choose their own?
So you can choose your own as I kind of mentioned before, if you're a fashion major and you have a friend, that's an architecture major and you are dead set that you want to live together. You sure can on the application form. Make sure you put your name and then make sure you put their name and email address and you have to have the same exact halls listed so that that that you'll be compatible. So make sure you're communicating with with your potential or incoming roommate.
It doesn't matter what major you are, so don't think Oh my gosh like that, we don't have the same majors. We can't live together. Not a big deal, but please get into an LLP. It's it's a great way to meet other people and especially in this case if you're an architecture major.
You can meet other students that might be going to the architecture building and you can hang out with them during the day while your roommates doing all of their fashion design stuff and taking all of their classes. What it is is it's a community that you can actually get into and share those things, and there are some common spaces like the fashion design area, has a studio that they can get it into on the weekends and you would get access to that so it does not. You don't have to be in the same LLP.
But definitely sign up for one 'cause I think it's a great way to meet people.
Awesome and then we do have questions about possibly living on campus or in their residence hall. Maybe for some of the breaks like spring break, fall break or winter break. Can you give us a little insight on that?
Yes, I actually don't want to misspeak on this one, and so that's why I'm going to find my actual list here. But while I'm looking here, we do have so many residence halls. We have over 23 residence halls. So like I said, if you're like, Oh my gosh now what did she say? Which one has what in it and.
You know which one has food in it? Which one doesn't. That's a big a big concern for people you know. Definitely check us out online and make sure that you can figure out which is which is which and what one would best suit your need. And you know definitely check that out. So question was about, and I've lost like a couple pages, which is fine. Question was about.
Yes, if there's anything extra, or if we do have students living on campus for fall break, winter break or spring break. If there's anything extra that a student might need to do for that.
Right, so I'm living on campus for like spring break. There's no extra fee. You would just have to stay, and that's not a big deal. They are open during those break periods, so you can during winter break you'd have to file a winter break housing application to remain in your current room.
Brianna Benson
05:24:03 PM
The Honors College residence hall assignments are made based on when you submit your housing application, what residence halls you put on your application, and then if you're admitted to the Honors College. We encourage putting all the Honors College residence halls first, but still list all preferences.
So while classes are not in Sessions after final exams in December and before classes in January, you would have to fill out a winter break housing application and we send that out all over social media. You get an email about it the whole 9 yards, so I'm just, you know, keep an eye out for that. Students can remain in their current rooms during fall break, Thanksgiving break and spring break with no extra cost so.
Awesome and then some other questions that we've gotten to is hey, maybe they did turn their housing application in February and we said we you can log back in and change preferences. Add roommates. Does that change their place in line from when they submitted?
It doesn't, right? That's a great question. It does not change your place in mind. So when you when you registered initially and hit that submit button, that's why we always say do it February 1st and just go back in whenever you want and.
Update it, it just updates it. It doesn't move you in place in line.
Awesome and then another thing too is we had some questions about moving dates. How are they organized? How do those work? And then how does a student notified about their movement date?
So everything is via email, so make sure you guys keep track of that email and check your emails. I actually had a meeting today with the housing people and they're currently right now. It's very tentative, but they're going to have three dates in August and it's alphabetical is how you would get to move in now if you're in like a sport or something to that effect I'm I'm sure early moving can be arranged, but yeah, alphabetical and it's over three day process.
Awesome and then two. We have some questions about the residence halls and what types there are. You mentioned singles and double s. Someone wants to know is it possible to have 3 route, 3 roommates or triple or quad?
Brianna Benson
05:25:47 PM
Housing assignments will start going out in June and will be sent to your KSU email address!
Sure, so they used to have triples. They don't anymore because there was a lot of headaches between roommates. The three just there was always an odd man out, so they went to more double s and singles. If you do have four people that want to live together, we do have like Jack and Jill, so there's a bathroom in between rooms on each side.
You can try to get that kind of process and put that down. I inquired with our assignments people earlier this week about a very similar situation in the singles because there's potentially a shared bathroom. Can you get a roommate but shared roommate bathroom? You can sure try and and where that's put into your housing application. We can't guarantee anything, so unfortunately you know we can definitely. If you put that roommate.
You know that the name of the roommate that you want, we can guarantee that, but we can't guarantee if you're going to be side by side by another group of friends, but you might be in that same hall at least.
And it sounds like as long as they put down their roommate selections, each person puts down their Kent State email address of their roommate and their preferences lineup. Housing will basically like room together.
Absolutely, absolutely. And that's actually what they that's what they prefer. If you do have a roommate coming in and it's easier for them just because they're not trying to pair people that you know may have not been so truthful on their applications. And then they're just trying to place them with everybody. So again, just be really honest on your application.
On what you like you know, are you a coffee drinker? Are you not? I mean, that might be a huge thing too. So I mean just be very honest about it.
Yeah, and then we do have a question about so you mentioned bathrooms just a little bit about the bathroom types. Are they down the hall? Give us a little bit of a feel of what some of those community restrooms look like, which don't. I will say look like your average line of shower curtains. Line of toilets.
You're absolutely right, Bree. They don't I told I told a student the other day when I went to college. I lived in a residence hall that would had like 20 rooms and literally one bathroom with like 4 stalls of toilets and like 3 stalls of showers. And that's it. And they all looked at me and I was like that's not what you will get here. So we have pod styles.
Again, and I know Bree put that into the chat, but I mean, I I'm going to explain it and you're gonna be like what is she even talking about? Please go see those virtual tours you'll you'll see it way better and will make more sense. But we have pod style. It's basically you have a floor of people and say 7 pods on that floor.
Brianna Benson
05:28:37 PM
For more information about the 23 residence halls, amenities, and where they are located at, be sure to check out: https://www.kent.edu/housing/residence-halls.
So you would get your own bathroom if you will like you go in, lock the door. You do what you need to do in that bathroom and then you leave. You know whether that's shower and shave and do whatever you need to do in that bathroom and then leave for the day. But it's not your bathroom, so you're going to share that with the whole floor and and we do have single bathrooms. They do come in once a week to clean them and then we do have the like I mentioned that Jack and Jills where like you might have a quad over here. You know, four people and.
More people over here and you have a shared bathroom, so we do have a multiple. We have a multitude of different bathrooms and and different systems, but check out you can see which Hall goes with which restroom and again if you're on campus or going to be coming onto campus anytime soon. Our model rooms are always open or you can come to housing and we can let you in and walk around. If you kind of want to see what that looks like as well.
Yeah, and then we do have a question. Good question here. Is getting into the residence halls you'd mentioned like security and stuff like that? What? How did they get into the residence hall? Up and down the elevator stairs and in their room? Is it a standard key? Is it a swipe card? Tell us a little bit about that.
Yes, so everything is your flash card. That's your life. Basically if you lose it, they charge you $25.00 to get a new one, so don't lose it. But that has your meal plan on it that has your key to get in any of your declining balance or flashcache, whatever.
And that's how you get in your room. That's how you get in the laundry facilities. That's how you get into your residence halls right now. I believe they still have residence halls all locked down, so you need them to get in. I know pre COVID that was not the way I'm like. You could walk in.
Brianna Benson
05:30:40 PM
Honors College students do usually move in at an earlier date than other students. As well as our students participating in Kupita Transciones (KT)- a program with our Student Multicultural Center.
And go visit a friend. You know you'd have to, you know. Tell them you're coming and and go to the desk and stuff. But since COVID they've locked down the residence halls, so you need a key to get. And especially on different floors. I know that I work in Tri Towers, which has right Crimson Leebrick in it and we need the card to get in it up and down the elevator as well as into like the rec center that's in there. So just you know you need your ID for everything and it's.
All located right there on that card.
And then we do have some questions about possibly sending items before move in. Are people allowed to ship things like maybe if they're coming from out of state before their actual move in date, and if so, how would one go about that?
You know what that I've never been asked that question and you might know that breed, but I will say no.
They actually don't, but I'm gonna put in the chat here. I'm going to put in housing phone number and their email address because we wanna make sure whomever answer ask that question that we get you the right answer. And I've noticed a couple of questions that are very, very particular about a certain situation. So we also wanna make sure that some of those ones don't necessarily want to air your personal grievances or things to everybody. So we also want to make sure that you're able to connect with housing. So I'll throw that in the chat.
While I'm throwing that information in the chat, I do have a couple more questions as far as UM.
You had mentioned those of as far as housing assignments Coed by floor, room, wing, or things like that. Questions about who you might live next to.
It depends on what building you live in in to be honest with you so we do have gender inclusive housing we have. I know that one of my residents or one of my employees is an RA and she is at all female floor that she's an RA 4 but I do know there are other buildings that have mixed so you could be living across from a female or a male whatever that is. So it all depends on on what residents hall you are living in.
Brianna Benson
05:32:27 PM
Housing's contact information: 330-672-7000 (Monday-Friday) or housing@kent.edu.
So yeah, there's not a specific for sure. Again, all that is online if you're like, oh, I want to move into Kuntz. You can see like it could be by floor, so it could be like male, female, male, female, all the way up the floor. It could be, you know, you know half and half on the floor. So yeah, just check that out.
Awesome and then I know we're running a little bit short on time. We'll do a few more questions for that, and again, if there's any questions that we don't get to, please know there's a lot in here we want to answer them and we want to answer them accurately. So I did put housing information on the chat side in their their phone number and their email address, and then I also put in as we've been talking some different links to some of the things that summer has listed, as well as just some other answers to some questions, but someone was curious. You had mentioned the roommate agreement.
On piece are they able to view that ahead of time and where might they find it?
Yeah, I'm so I hate to keep saying it, but we can I. I don't believe it's online, but you could sure get a copy through housing at kent.edu. They would be happy to send you something like that so you could read through it and but basically what I mean, what it is is it's you're gonna sit and talk to your room and make your own agreement and then sign it. So that's basically it's not, you know, verbiage that free and I were roommates and you know, I'm coming in saying why won't this this this and she says I want.
You know I want a cat and a hamster, which you can't have pets in there unless you register them with SAS just so you know. And she's like, no, I I'm a dog person. Or, you know, even something to that extent.
Brianna Benson

The list of residence halls you'd like to live in will need to line up with your roommate's choices. Always good to talk with them beforehand to get that all figured out!
That's something that you would have to definitely work out through your roommate agreement. So yeah, housing at kent.edu is the email and they could definitely send you a copy of that if you wanted that.
And I know we always get questions about what animals can they bring, and I know it's very limited.
So definitely go to the. It's a loaded question for sure. You do need to register. You can have a fish if you don't want to register that, but other than that you need to go through SAS, which is the student accessibility department.
And you need to register your pet.
You, I mean people have registered their snakes and their tarantulas. So I am letting you know that they can be in there. They catch things like that service animals. So for sure I just know that dogs is the only service animal.
But yeah, I I just went on training and pets and housing last week and some of the animals that they were talking about was like, OK, well it's I mean, they just have to go through the right channels and that is definitely where you would start.

For Emotional Support Animals or Service Animal registration, be sure to check out www.kent.edu/sas.
And I am putting in here the website for our Student accessibility services. On that website there is usually the information about emotional support animals as well as service animals, and there's usually a form that needs to be filled out with that. So you wanna get that in as soon as possible before roommate assignments that go out in June. So that way you know if it's approved or not. And we'll yeah, go for it.
And I will. I was gonna say I was gonna say really quick. That's something to to be very truthful on in your roommate application. If you do plan on bringing something and it is approved through SAS. An example is 2 to remain got together. They they kicked it off and they were like this is going to be amazing and the ones that I'm going to bring my.
Emotional support animal and they were all about it and then she found out it was a cat and the other roommate was allergic to the cat. So again, please be very honest on that application.
And one last question to wrap it up, is anybody who maybe has early move in, maybe for athletics or band or things along those lines and is possibly going to be staying on campus early? Do they need? How do bringing cars work with as far as residence halls go? And then I'll answer the second part by giving you all the link for parking services till you can explore. If you have a car on campus for the whole semester, what that's gonna look like?
Well, you can go and then I will follow it up. How about that?
Yes, I'll type it in there. If you want to do that.
OK, so you can bring your car to campus if you're moving in early. That is not a problem, but you would have to park it over at Dix Stadium, which is kind of a hike just so you know. But we do have the part of bus system that picks you up on a regular basis and will bring you to campus. So you're more than welcome to bring it and they do take it in the summer. It's not an exemption, I've gotten one in the summer time. I'm not going to lie so they do take it in the summer. And yeah, so you, you can bring it. And if you want to move in early but.
