Dance @ Kent State: 2024 Summer Dance Intensive

Experience the intensity and welcoming space of Kent State University’s Dance Division program during a one-week summer dance program! Participate in dance classes such as modern, contemporary and classical ballet, jazz, musical theatre, yoga and tap. Attend a Porthouse Theatre performance and learn about injury and eating disorder prevention. Juniors and seniors can audition for the B.F.A./B.A. in Dance degree program during the summer program for early acceptance.

This multi-day program has a registration fee to cover the cost of instruction. Please note the cost of meals and lodging are at the expense of participants. Early bird price is $400 and after April 26th the price increases to $450.

The program runs from Monday (6/24) - Friday (6/28) from 10 a.m. - 4:15 p.m., and on Saturday (6/29) from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
