Behind the Scenes 2027 is an event showcasing all that the School of Fashion at Kent State University has to offer to prospective and admitted students.

At this event, you will:

Get an exclusive behind the scenes look at the 2027 KSU Fashion Show from senior fashion design students.
Have lunch on your own on while exploring campus or downtown Kent. A list of recommendations will be available.
Return at 1 p.m. for a mixer where which you can gain hands-on experiences in our labs with make-and-take projects.
Tour the Fashion Museum.
Attend a Q&A with designers and showrunners from the show.
Engage with student groups through a variety of activities.

Students may bring one (1) guest aged 18 or older with them. We will have an information session for parents and guardians during this event as well.

There will also be an opportunity to win scholarships and swag for students who commit to Kent State as our way of welcoming you to the School of Fashion family!
